The room functioned like the Magic School Bus in that it could transport you to places where you can't really go in the real world. In this image, the viewer is taken into the micro world to see Legionella bacteria in the water system of a building. When you are in the room with the 3D glasses on, you feel like you are swimming with giant bacteria. It's like VR without the headset.
